Are you searching for the legendary American vintage sound? This Buescher Aristocrat (S-33) from 1960/61 delivers exactly that. Because this model dates from the “Pre-Selmer” era, it retains the high-quality craftsmanship of Elkhart, Indiana.
Mechanical Excellence!
Although the exterior looks vintage, the mechanics feel like new. We recently completed a professional overhaul of the entire instrument. Consequently, the saxophone now features brand new pads from MusicMedic, corks, and felts. Furthermore, our technician adjusted every key to ensure it seals perfectly from top to bottom. While the setup is excellent, you can still make minor adjustments to match your personal preference for key action.
Authentic Vintage Condition
In contrast to the perfect mechanics, the body shows a lot of character. You will find significant lacquer wear and corrosion, along with a few minor cosmetic dents at the bottom. However, these visual flaws do not affect the playability or the rich, dark intonation.
Ready to Ship
The original hard case is included in the sale, no mouthpiece unfortunately. Since one latch is broken, we have secured it with a sturdy strap. Additionally, we are happy to send more specific photos if you need them.
